Emantras goes from strength to strength and wins the gold

Emantras wrapped up 2009, in what was a watershed year, by winning the gold at the 2009 Brandon Hall learning awards. Emantras Inc. had won bronze in 2008 and it was a natural progression to gold in 2009. The gold was awarded in the learning game category for the cutting edge work with its international client, Lufthansa.

Brandon Hall has been a pioneer in the field of education and research, and has been providing independent research reports and expert advice on using technology in learning. Brandon Hall Research conducts the Awards program each year to recognize the best in innovative learning.

The award winning game that was crafted for Lufthansa dealt with the language of aviation. The objective was to educate the aviation technicians, who were predominantly Hispanics and Asians and were not native speakers of English.

The newly developed Web-based training offered a look into how to get the most out of learning Aviation English. Learning takes place by a variety of interactive tasks in various lessons and challenging games, both of which develop self motivation. It also encourages the users to immerse themselves in the fun and interactive learning environment.

This win has truly boosted the morale of the entire workforce at Emantras. It is proof of quality work, unceasing dedication and unfailing efforts to be leaders in innovative learning.

Speaking about the win, Sesh Kumar, the CEO and founder of Emantras Inc. said: ‘A great moment and timing when we have just been recognized as innovator and leader in the learning space for various segments. I am quite sure that this is the start for many more to come’.

The win has paved the way for Emantras to join the leagues of the best in e-learning.
