Overview
Emantras provides an intelligent software training solution to a reputed software
services company.
The Challenge
A reputed software solutions and services company wanted Emantras to develop a user-friendly training package for their software, an organization management tool that would help them enlighten their sales staff and customers on the features and functions of the product. The challenge in this project was to understand the interface and complex functionalities of the product and develop the simulation in a simple and easily understandable manner.
Our Solution
Emantras team received inputs from the company in the form of the product itself, a contact manager, softcopies of the literature that describes the product functions and storyboard for the training module. Our development team familiarized itself with the various menu items and their use and also the different functionalities of the software. They then developed a software-training package that would help to train the users effectively and increase their efficiency while working with the software.
The tool was developed in two modes. One is a demonstration mode, wherein the simulation automatically plays showing the different features, functions and their usage. The other is an interactive simulation, wherein the user is required to interact with the module to proceed at various stages. This gives the user the hands-on experience and confidence to work with the real software. We have also offered voiceovers for the training, which will help to enhance the user understanding. The technologies used for developing this application are Flash MX 2004 and Adobe Photoshop. Some of the major attractions of this training solution are

Outcome
Our software training solution has simplified the training process for the company. It has helped them save on cost and time that is usually involved with training processes. The live simulations have given the users a risk-free practice environment and this makes the training very effective. Their customers are able to access the training and user-manuals online from any location without any hassles.
