When I began working as an online professor five years ago, I was somewhat amazed at the capabilities that learning in a virtual environment could bring. I have seen many learning management systems and methods of deploying course materials and all too often they are mundane text riddled courses that could drive any student and instructor to dissatisfaction with the learning environment online.
